The Fresh Aero Sonex EasyLift will be posted very soon. This system will lift all Sonex aircraft in both tailwheel and tri-gear configurations. This Lift will be a scaled down version of our Grumman AA-1 & AA-5 EasyLifts as Grumman and Sonex aircraft share a flat bottom design. The Sonex EasyLift uses a double stage (ram) hydraulic jack to make lifting your Sonex a breeze. The price will be about 220 dollars for the lift and crossbeam. If you’ve ever removed and installed front seats on Grumman AA1 & AA5 series aircraft, you know how tough this job can be. Blade screwdrivers just don’t make it here because the blade slips off the screw due to the tight working quarters and angle of attack of the screwdriver. We now offer Fresh Aero Bug Blockers for Grumman AA5 series aircraft fuel vent tubes. These pre-formed stainless steel screens will prevent mud daubers and other insects from sealing your fuel vents and maybe your fate.
We offer steel caps that just snap into the holes where the nose strut torque tubes attach to the honeycomb structure aft of the firewall. They replace the rusty metal caps that are common on most Grummans and they can be painted to match the color of your Grumman. We also offer plastic caps for the wheel pant holes that just snap in and give the pant a clean streamlined look.
Grumman owners know how their battery box cover deforms due to the heat in the engine compartment. The Fresh Aero Battery Heat Shield is fabricated from a layer fiber heat barrier matting and silicone that will cover the top and front of the battery box. This flame proof shield will cover and beautify the top of the battery box and protect it from further heat damage.
