Fresh Aero is proud to offer these great looking stainless steel tiedown eyebolts for Cessna. Grumman and Van's RV aircraft. They will fit many other aircraft too.
Thread sizes are 5/16-
The tiedown rings are 1 9/16 inches (40mm) outside diameter and 15/16 inch (25mm) inside diameter. Cross sectional diameter is 5/16 (8mm) inch. The Grumman and RV thread length is 3/4 (18mm) inch. They weigh in at 2 ounces each.
Stainless Steel tiedown Eyebolts for Grumman, Cessna and other Aircraft
Check out stainless steel tail skids.If your aircraft is a little tail heavy, these tail skids are just the ticket for saving your tail eye bolts. These skids will make contact first and flex and cushion the contact. And they will never rust or corrode. The eye bolt hole has leads to allow inserting longer eye bolts from the side.

Important Notice
Some of you may have noticed that we no longer manufacture several of the products we offered in the past. This is based on the realities of age – my age. I’m in my mid 70’s and I need to consider retiring from my so called “retirement” job.
I began Fresh Aero Aviation in 2005 after retiring from a career as a maintenance planner in the auto industry. I was actively flying and maintaining Grumman aircraft since 1986 and also served as the AYA Southern Region Director for several years.
When maintaining Grummans, I always asked myself if there were better ways to perform routine maintenance and if there were better interior lighting solutions for night flying. This resulted in the development of tools and interior LED lighting specifically for Grumman aircraft and I wanted share this with the Grumman community. I wanted to give back to aviation for a great ride over the years. So Fresh Aero was born.
But, I’ve neglected other aspects of my life that I need to tend to. Guys who were working with me have retired and gone on to other pursuits, and I need to do that too. Also, the only aircraft I currently fly are on my Microsoft Flight Simulator. It’s fairly realistic you know.
That said, we’re not shutting down tomorrow. Our plan is consume our present inventory of raw materials – most of it anyway, and close out products as this happens. We still have a good supply of LED lighting and stainless steel tiedown/tail skid material.
We still list a few of the products we no longer manufacture, as a courtesy, so previous customers can still obtain specifications, manuals and additional information. These products are marked with a red asterisk.

We Try to keep your shipping costs as low as possible. but, shipping carriers are constantly raising their prices. We'll continue to ship our small, lightweight products USPS First Class Mail and that will keep your shipping costs to the bare minimum.Our other products ship USPS Priority Mail or FedEx. Costs are calculated by weight and zone and you can check your shipping costs using our shopping cart shipping calculator before you place your order.
Attention International Customers: Please call or email us for a shipping quote if you don't live in the United States. We do have 3 dollar customs charge to cover additional paper work and and a personal visit to the Post Office. Also, duties, tariffs and other costs on your side may apply.
